June 2024 Writing Contest: My First Love Affair

Welcome to our June Writing Contest! We invite you to share your personal experiences or create a fictional story about your first love affair. This contest aims to explore the magical journey of first love and its impact on our lives.

Here are the details:

Topic

Write a story about your first love affair. Describe how it all started, the emotions you experienced, and how the relationship shaped you as a person. Reflect on whether the experience brought out the best or worst in you. What were the consequences? Share the duration of the relationship. Do you regret what you went through? Would you want to it all over? Feel free to include any other love stories you've heard or one that influenced your own.

You can also craft a fictional affair.

What's the Prize?

A total of $200 will be divided among the winners. The prize money will be distributed as follows:

- 1st Place: $100

- 2nd Place: $50

- 3rd Place: $30

-4th Place: 20

Word Count, Submission Period and Winner Announcement

Word Count:

Your story should be between 800 and 1200 words. Please ensure that your submission falls within this range.

Submission Period:

- Submissions start on June 1st.

- Submissions end on June 20th.

Winner Announcement:

The winners will be announced on or before June 30th. Once the winners are announced, they will be promptly paid their respective prize amounts.

Submission Process: Submit your story using the submission form below. Follow the instructions carefully and ensure your story is submitted within the specified timeframe.

We encourage you to share this contest with your friends and family. Let them also have a chance to reminisce about their first love and participate in the contest.

Even if you don't enter the competition, we still encourage you to write and share your story. Writing can be a cathartic experience, and your story may resonate with others who have similar experiences.
